Rony Abou Hamdan
Rony Abou Hamdan is a Lebanese designer born in Beirut in 1986, at a young age he developed a refined passion for the arts and fashion. He lived most of his childhood abroad and traveled a lot which gave him a wider perspective and an exposure to the international arts scenes which he would always carry with him.
Rony Abou Hamdan moved back to Lebanon and enrolled in l’École Supérieure des Arts et Techniques de la Mode (ESMOD) Beirut to complete a degree in Fashion Design.
After completion and seeing his raw talent, he was directly hired by one of the top haute couture designers and from there he began his journey, He work on mastering all technical aspect of fashion designing to have his perfect fitting cuts, refined and technical hand embroidery and complementing volumes that he renowned for.
He quickly grew ranks and at a very young age was managing the Couture and Ready to Wear departments of esteemed and reputable fashion houses. This gained him great knowledge and know how in the fashion industry.
L'ATELIER
BEHIND THE SCENES
In 2017 he opened his atelier of Haute Couture in Beirut showcasing beautiful and timeless gowns, with every collections his reputations for details, cuts and sophisticated work grew. He quickly expanded and grew his brand having a worldwide request for his haute couture and bridal dress.
He and his team are working by fusing innovation and new techniques with traditional “Savoir Fair” to delivery outstanding pieces of art with every creation that highlights the craftsmanship of the atelier.
Working on
sustainability
Rony Abou Hamdan Couture is in the class of slow fashion with the creations of high quality pieces in low volumes. With pieces produced per demand eliminating any surplus in this method eliminating bulk amounts of pieces and fabrics unused.
Always thriving on sustainability and reducing as much as he can his carbon footprint, a great admirer of nature, Rony Abou Hamdan always pushes to use natural fabrics reducing all types of plastics and polyester when possible.
Insistent in sustainability, we will remain and persevere to have as low waist as possible with the finest available materials to maintain our beautiful planet and always be at the forefront in this commitment.
